This was made for my friend Eric, whose Hebrew name is איתן (Eitan). He wanted sort of a simple and traditional Star of David, but then of course he was dealing with me. His wife Michelle supplied his Hebrew name after I decided I wanted to work it in somehow, and after failing several times to come up with something clever I saw a reject design from a different angle and viola! His name becomes the star.
