Alabaster Teardrop Earrings

The pear-shaped cabochons in these teardrop earrings were hand-carved from pieces of alabaster from a previous sculptural piece that I'd made for my synagogue. The first of a few upcoming pieces made with remainders of the stone, they were made as my way of thanking someone who showed infinite patience with me while I was sculpting the earlier piece.
